SWEET

The SWEET Project (Supporting Women into Employment, Education, and Training) is an empowering initiative designed to support women from ethnic minority backgrounds in West London. The project aims to help women take meaningful steps towards gaining employment or furthering their education by offering tailored support, resources, and opportunities to achieve their personal and professional goals.

BRIDGE

The Bridge project aims to support mothers in Hillingdon and is funded by the Heathrow Community Trust Communities Fund. This project empowers women to move into training, employment, or volunteering, with a focus on building confidence, skills, and community connections.

LEICESTER BRIDGE PROJECT

The Leicester Bridge Project, funded by Jobs 22 through the Restart Scheme, supported 111 women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Leicester between September 2023 and August 2024. The project aimed to empower participants by addressing barriers to employment, offering tailored support such as one-to-one sessions, workshops, and access to the Grow App. Local partnerships were instrumental in the project’s success, including collaboration with the Shama Women’s Centre and Leicester Advice and Support Services CIC.

The project serves as a model for delivering social value and empowering communities.
