Today 21 June is Flexible Working Day 2023! Set up to promote, learn, encourage and celebrate all things flex. For a future where flexible working simply comes with the job. 

Here at the Belina Grow CIC we know that Flexible Working will make a difference in ensuring that more women returners, and many others can return to the workforce. It will increase productivity because women and older workers, two groups who really appreciate flexible working, are key engines of economic recover

Our Term-time working project got a boost from Amazon this month when they announced they would be offering term-time working to staff. We want to encourage all organisations to consider offering Term-time working –

Belina GRoW CIC has published a new report ‘Developing a case for the promotion of term-time working’ with the aim of drawing together current evidence relating to term-time working, and to begin to establish a case for its scaling-up in the UK. It seeks to establish a working definition of term-time working and to explore the current prevalence of, and demand for, this form of flexibility.
